OMSI presents Da Vinci: The Genius
Da Vinci: The Genius explores the art and science of Leonardo da Vinci, one of the greatest minds the world has ever known. During his lifetime da Vinci was an inventor, painter, scientist, engineer, musician, architect, and more. Da Vinci: The Genius originated in Italy and is the most complete and comprehensive traveling exhibition on da Vinci ever created. More than 10 years in the making, the exhibit has been seen in Paris, Rome, Moscow, Melbourne, San Paulo, San Francisco and other major cities around the world.
First Thursday
A perfect time to visit the art galleries and mingle among the crowds is the "First Thursday" of every month in the Pearl District and Old Town Portland. The evening is full of art, wine and music. Walk from gallery to gallery to view all of the new art exhibits. Generally the hours are 6pm to 9pm. Please check each gallery's website for more information and to view other artists works that they represent.

18TH ANNUAL TUBA CHRISTMAS CONCERT AT PIONEER COURTHOUSE SQUARE
On Saturday, December 13th from 1:30PM-3:00PM, downtown will pulse with the melodic sounds of big brass as over 200 tubas play in unison at Pioneer Courthouse Square for the 18th Annual Tuba Christmas Concert presented by Smart Park. This annual seasonal performance is FREE for the public to enjoy during one of the busiest shopping days in downtown.
